Collagen is a natural protein that provides texture, resiliency, and shape in the skin. This is found throughout the body in the skin, muscle, tendon, and bone. Fibers of collagen are woven together like threads in fabric to form a framework into which new cells can grow. Cosmoplast is made of highly purified human collagen. It replenishes your skin’s lost collagen, restoring skin structure. With Cosmoplast, natural collagen in injected just below the surface of the skin to build up the support in that area. Collagen treatments typically last up to 4 months.

Radiesse injectable implant is composed of Calcium Hydroxylapatite particles in a gel carrier. In soft tissues, the Radiesse acts as “tissue scaffolding” upon which fibroblasts migrate and lay down a new type 1 collagen and other extracellular fillers that promote tissue growth. Immediately following injection, Radiesse acts primarily as a filler. As the carrier gel is resorbed and Radiesse takes on its scaffolding properties, new tissue growth is stimulated.  The result of these properties is immediate and long lasting correction.  Correction length is 12-18 months following a minor touch up procedure approximately 3-6 months after initial injection (if needed).

Artefill® contains PMMA microspheres and purified bovine collagen gel with an anesthetic for comfort that provides immediate and long lasting results. The unique microspheres in Artefill® are not absorded by the body and provide the permanent support your skin needs for long-lasing wrinkle correction. Before initial treatment with Artefill®, a skin test must be administered. This must be perfomed 4 weeks prior to treatmen to screen for an allergy to bovine collagen.
